Privacy Policy
Active Health Guide collects as little about you as a website can. This page describes exactly what that means.
1. This site does not track you
We want to be specific, because almost every site says something like this and few mean it:
- We set no cookies. None — not for analytics, not for advertising, not for preferences.
- We run no analytics. There is no Google Analytics, no Meta pixel and no tracking script of any kind on this site.
- We load nothing from third-party servers. Our fonts, images and stylesheets are all served from this domain. No outside company receives your visit.
You can confirm this yourself: open your browser's developer tools on any page of this site and look at the Network and Cookies tabs.
2. What our web host records
Like every website, ours runs on a server that keeps standard access logs. Our host records the IP address of the request, the date and time, the page requested, the browser and operating system, and the page you arrived from. These logs exist for security and to keep the site running. We do not use them to build a profile of you, and we do not combine them with anything else.
3. When you click an affiliate link
When you click a link to a retailer, you leave this site. From that moment you are on the retailer's website, under the retailer's privacy policy, and that company may set its own cookies to attribute the sale. We have no access to your name, your address, your card or your order — the retailer reports only that a sale happened. See our advertising and affiliate disclosure.
4. When you write to us
If you email contact@activehealthguide.online we receive your address and whatever you choose to write. We use it to answer you and, where relevant, to correct a page. We do not add you to any mailing list and we do not sell, rent or share your address.
5. We do not sell data
We have never sold, rented or traded personal information, and we do not intend to. There is no data broker relationship of any kind behind this site.
6. Children
This site is written for adults and is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
7. Your rights
Because we set no cookies and hold no accounts, there is generally nothing about you for us to hand over or erase apart from an email you have sent us. If you have written to us and want that correspondence deleted, ask and we will delete it.
8. External links
We link to primary sources such as PubMed, ClinicalTrials.gov, the FDA, the NIH and the Better Business Bureau, and to the retailers that sell the products we review. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of any site we link to.
9. Changes to this policy
If we ever add anything that changes the description above — analytics, for example — we will update this page and change the date below before that change goes live.
